Once a sushi restaurant that stood closed for 13 years, it was reborn in 2022 as a warm and welcoming space where the texture of wood and the life of the town intertwine.

This “Whole House Rental Plan” allows you to reserve the entire guesthouse for your group’s exclusive use.

Perfect for family trips, gatherings with friends, workshops, or small retreats — enjoy the privacy and comfort of your own “home” in the heart of the city.

The building features four distinct guest rooms:
the “GOTEN” Tatami Room,
the “GENBE” Loft Triple Room,
the “SAKURA” Twin Room with semi-double beds,
and the “HASUNUMA” Single Room.

Up to 9 guests can stay together, using the rooms freely according to your group’s needs.

The shared lounge on the first floor includes a large wooden counter and communal table, ideal for casual conversations, reading, or even small seminars and meetings.

The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, electric kettle, microwave, and IH stove, allowing you to prepare meals or hold a private dinner party with local ingredients.

Upon check-in, our staff personally welcome you and provide information about the stay, nearby restaurants, and recommended spots around Mishima.
Because giwa does not use self check-in, you can easily ask questions and get insider tips — the kind you won’t find online.

As evening falls, the nearby bars and izakaya light up the streets.
You can head out for a night in town, or stay in for a quiet evening with your group.

For whole-house rentals, you may choose whether to have the “giwa BAR” open or remain private for your group.
If you wish, you can enjoy an hour of relaxed conversation with locals (from 9 to 10 PM) — or simply savor a private night together.
